I HAVE A CUSTOMERS 200 ALLIS IN SHOP. CUSTOMER SAYS THE RIGHT BRAKE LOCKS UP AND HAVE TO ROCK IT TO GET IT TO RELEASE. THIS IS A LATER STYLE 200 BRAKE SET UP. USUALLY THIS IS CAUSED BY, OIL LEAK,OR PADS WORN OUT, OR DISTANCE BETWEEN INNER AND OUTER BRAKE DRUM PARTS BECOMES TO WIDE. THE EARLIER STYLE BRAKE SETUP IS SIMILAR TO 100 SERIES TRACTORS. SHOP MANUAL GIVES ALLOWABLE DIMISION BETWEEEN BRAKE DRUMS.
MY SHOP MANUAL GIVES NO DIMISION BETWEEN BRAKE DRUM PLATES ON TRACTORS WITH THE NEWER STYLE BRAKES. SHOULD THIS BE A CONCERN? WHAT ELSE MIGHT CAUSE BREAK TO LOCK UP? BRAKE DISCS SHOW VERY LITTLE WEAR AND NO OIL LEAK.

Could be a problem in the rear end. Have seen this before on some tractors.

Is it the style of brakes like the 7000 have? Discs with ball bearings on a taper to push them out? if so,make sure where the ball bearings slide is smooth, also check them for any flat spots

My belief is that the splines get worn in the discs (sharp) and cause this problem. Look at that area closely.

Do you remember what ended being the fix for this? Mine does have oil in one side, but the other is dry
