Eat more Spinach ???

Yes, I've got 2 that have that problem...
causes are
1) bad seal in rockshaft cylinder
2) bad hydraulic hose
3) bad check valve in hydraulic pump

1 and 2 require you to remove rockshaft and get 'inside'. Be SURE to pull BOTH plugs on belly...rear end(diff) will be FULL of oil, so put 5 gallon pail underneath AND have another nearby. Mine had 7 gallons in it....PTO shaft needs to come out(that's easy, but be real careful putting it back it or you'll destroy a shaft seal waaay inside the beast!

#3 is what I now have, means removing pump, cleaning it, replacing it.....maybe in the middle of summer......

I 'recycled' the lift oil for 3-4 years until I broke down and tore into it. Not a bad job, some things to know and be careful ,rockshaft is heavy !

Could be just pulling lever down too far.  If it is seals or hose it will run out of hydraulic oil pretty quick. How long will blade stay up with engine off?     MACK

It won't put the lever up and blade falls rite down

Put some synthetic Viagra oil in the system.
If that does not work, replace the oil with C-Allis.

If your hydraulic and transmission oil levels stay OK, sounds like a bad hold valve on the pump.

I was wonder about the seal in the cylinder but I would check the valve first.
