Hello,
I have a 185 that the 18.4 x 28 rims and tires are shot. Was told that Massey 30 inch inners would fit. Everything seems to measure up ok. I started to remove the old ones today and figured all I had to do was jack up the tractor and remove the rim bolts. BUT I discovered these are bolted, if you will, with nuts on the inside. What is the easiest way to get to the nuts and remove the inner part? Do you have to take tire and outer rim off first? I appreciate and welcome suggestions.

You don't need to completely remove the tire and rim, however you need to at least spin them out to be able to hold those nuts.

You can reach the nuts with a boxed end wrench laying on the floor, but need someone to run the impact on the other side.

I have been able to jack up the one side and put the tractor in gear (not running), loosen the wedges and roll the wheel out by hand. It sure is inconvenient when the tire is flat and set all the way in...but it is what it is. Once the wheel is out and I can get access, I use two vise grips from the bottom and do two bolts at a time.
