I was reading the news tonight and stumbled on this. Apparently, AGCO has topped out.
Jefferies downgraded AGCO Corporation (NYSE: AGCO) from Buy to Hold with a price target of $61.00 on valuation as the price target is reached.
Analyst Stephen Volkmann commented, "AGCO has reached our price target and is trading at all time highs on P/E, EV/EBITDA and EV/Sales. While the company has managed costs exceptionally well this downturn, we believe cycle fundamentals remain mostly weak and find the shares fully valued at present. AGCO will provide updated guidance for 2017 at its annual analyst day in NYC Friday."

I'm not surprised considering what a glut of grain there currently is in the world. Prices are down and farmers world wide are not buying anything they don't really need.

Hopefully the stock will drop in price, and we can all start a mutual fund that exclusively buys Agco stock, and once we achieve a large enough percentage, we can get a seat on the board and threaten to short-sale the stock if they dont bring the orange tractor back. :)
Far more effective plan than just complaining. :)
I nominate Shameless for our representative on the board. :)

If you need parts for your Gleaner, we are parting out A's through L2's, so we may be able to help.
