I purchased a rebuilt mag for my WD.I put it on gave it a try and nothing but one big backfire after winding a while.I took it off rotated the end 180 and put it back on and nothing. Is there a right or wrong way to put it on i have never changed one out before thanks for any help.

Thanks and with some help from Alan nj I got it going! I replaced the mag parts 12 yrs ago but left the mag on the tractor. Due to a crack on old casing decided to get another one...Thank you Alan !
