I tried to search for this but was unable to find an answer.
I have my grandfathers 1956 WD45 wide front and factory power steering.  I need the seal at the top of the power steering gear box where the shaft enters the valve area.  It was leaking/weeping and was destroyed trying to get it out.
I tried NAPA and another local store and installed one that looks like a driveshaft seal but is narrow and I believe it will leak again all over the new paint.
I am looking for a replacement for it, where, part numbers advise etc.
When I pulled the tractor out of the weeds and onto my trailer during a family wedding it became the talk of the evening because everyone used it on the farm and wanted to see it restored and used again.
Thank you
Kris (retired Army Ranger)

AGCO still has them, AGCO part number 70227346 you will need to order 2 seals to replace the old one piece seal you removed or you can call me 8 to 5 and I can give you the seal's part number, I'm rebuilding a power steering one right now.

I have installed two seals on three of my power steering units and have not had a leak.

Thank you for the information.  I tried to look up the part number 70227346 on the AGCO website.  I am probably doing it wrong because it came up with nothing.
I will try to give you a call early this upcoming week to confirm the number.
The tractor is almost finished and I cant wait to plow snow with it again this year with my 8ft drag blade.  Call me crazy Wacko but I just love using the tractor as much as I can.  That is what it is made for.
Love this 1956 WD45 and so does my young son.

I just went back to AGCO to check and 70227346 is the right number for the seals, you will need to install two of them like Lon said.
