I always use aluminum paint for the rims. ------------- Waukesha B, B, IB, G, styled WF, D15, 615 backhoe, 2-Oliver OC3's, 4 Ford Model T's, 3 Model A Fords, AV8 Coupe, AV8 Roadster, 1933 Ford Wrecker |

Has anyone ever tried cold dip galvanizing paint? I used some on a flare box wagon to touch up some spots, but not sure how it would work on a large scale. ------------- Looking at the past to see the future. '53 WD, '53 WD45, WD snap coupler field cultivator, #53 plow,'53 HD5B dozer Duct tape.... Can't fix stupidity. But will muffle the sound of it! |

Steve, I have been using rustoleum silver metalic. Was just what I picked up. They came out OK for me.  We need some progress pictures of the CA. I know you work like mad on these tractors! I used the cold galvanized paint on my D14 rims. Darker and more gray than silver, but I liked the end product. ------------- D14, D17, 5020, 612H, CASE 446 |
