i wouldnt buy a B with transmission problems. they simply arent worth the $ to fix. so many out there cheaper than that with no major problems, id pass.      i know of 3 just off the top of my head around here that would be a better value

If it runs without smoke and has fair rubber, I'd buy.

Hmm...$800...not a bad deal if the tranny didn't jump. Since it jumps, I'd say $500 or less. B's and C's just aren't worth much, which I personally like. (Cheaper power!)

Someone got lucky two Saturdays ago and got a 1941 C at auction with almost new tires. $550. Supposedly ran good, but I never heard it.

On the other hand a friend of mine has a great running B with Woods L59 mower and nice tires. I forget what he's asking, but it's a decent price. Paint is rough, but that's it.

Dang, wish that was southern MN.  Got a boy who thinks he needs another one.

Mark is it hand crank or starter? Do the rear tires match? Where in Minnesota?
