First weekend I've been able to be home to do something in over a month so decided to brush hog the popcorn stalks and plow the garden. Old 8n hadn't run in two years, $50 Wal-Mart battery, fresh gas and a quick swipe across the points and we were off. Mowing went well, didn't run out of gas until the I was done and the tractor cooled off. Got the hydraulic pump set but having one heck of a time getting the SC plow set on the CA, off and on the tractor many times, getting close and then spotted a little abscess on the furrow tire. Original rear tire with the tractor in 57, told the announcer at Don's Powell Garden show that I didn't think they would last another year. Guess I should a let a little more air out, kept plowing and it would have let itself out but then I would a lost all my Calcium Chloride. Gonna go pump it out now and go shopping.

Probably a good thing you stopped that calcium wouldn't help whatever you plant after the plowing is done. If this tire is from 57 I would have to say you got your monies worth out of it.

Yep Dan73, prolly wouldn't have made it to the asparagus patch before it all ran out.
The process has begun, the rims don't appear as bad as I thought but will pull the tires and rims off the daughters CA for now. She has a boyfriend, she'll never notice.
