A Massey Ferguson  EP 8 combine, with what looked like a 2 row cornhead headed eastbound, on US 50, near Annapolis, MD today around noon.  I could have got the number wrong. but looked like a small plot combine, maybe for yield testing of experimental plots?  Anybody know anything about these types of machines??

If it was light blue it could be a wintersteiger-an Austrian made plot combine.
Lots of them used here by Ag Canada. Good machines.

I believe they are Finnish made. The newer ones have a SISU AGCO engine. They also build machines up to about the size of an L3, maybe a little bigger. Nice machines. Trev.

If you are interested in ones that small Purple Wave has two on an internet auction - from Oklahoma. Both have Volkswagen engines.

ALAMACO at Nevada IA builds two row plot harvesting combines. Their web page https://www.almaco.com/" rel="nofollow - https://www.almaco.com/ shows they are blue.
