My wife and I went to the agricultural expo (Sunbelt) in Moultrie, Georgia, today.  Perfect weather!  They had some older tractors, but no Allis Chalmers.  Mainly new equipment.  Really cool show with BIG equipment.  I saw these pulling tractors--so AC was represented!

Brings back memories of flying the T28 trainer at Spence Air Base on  a ROTC trip out of Detroit.

Chuck,
Cool.  The airport was right next door to the show and we could see into the hangars.  Really cool.

My father in law and brother in law will be there tomorrow. I'm going to make that trip someday.

It is a great show, lots of new high $$$$$$ equipment. I have not been in several years but hoping to get back next year, just had too much going on this week to make it.

Cracker Jack has been a pulling tractor since 1974 when I went to ABAC, I helped build it back then. It is stock cu.in. with 2 turbos and inline pump. It pulled on southern circuit NTPA for 10 years, went to Indy Super pull twice. Altered Allis is Two Twenty drive train with Detroit 40 It pulls with the Southern Pullers. The AET club at ABAC built both tractors. The only college club with 2 pulling tractors.

It as been hotter this year than I can ever remember at this show. I have been every year, this is the 39th show. First 6 shows I worked as Allis service rep. One year we had every model tractor in field 5020 to 8550, combine in corn, combine in soybeans and cotton stripper in cotton. Worked over a month getting ready for show.
