This is not A-C related (and not really even tractor related), but I am making a request.

My cousin's son's elementary class has a class project going. They are each trying to get a postcard from every state. Currently, Gavin is missing Idaho, Utah, New Mexico, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Missouri, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Kentucky, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, West Virginia, Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Vermont. I am pretty sure I have seen posts from every one of these states on this forum.

If you would like to help, his address is: Gavin Richards, 388 Harkness Road, Peru New York 12972.

Thank you for helping out!!!

A post card with a written message or just a blank card?

I assume a blank card will suffice.

Maybe a signature...

Thanks bradley6874!

An afterthought... Maybe you could sign them using your name on this site and add that they are from the AC forum!

I saw one in Nebraska with one ear of corn on a semi truck.  That might impress the kids!

How soon does this project end? My state is taken. BUT I will be in the Carribian area for a cruise in January if I can help out and make his project any better! Be more than happy to do it. Not sure if we will be in P.R. but it is a US teritory?

I was only able to find them at a huge truck stop along I-35!  They had a pretty good selection. Even one with a JD combine on it, but I wouldn't dare taint a young mind with something like that! Wink

I just got a message from Gavin's mom. He still needs Wyoming, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Michigan, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Kentucky, Vermont. Can anyone help?

Thanks to Lon, Creston, Hubert, Brian and any others that sent cards. It's a great learning experience for him!

I had difficulty finding a post card. Went to the airport yesterday morning and could see the post cards through the closed iron gates. Finally found out the man who runs it is in New Orleans. Won't be back till next week. Asked around and was told to try the casinos, (my first visit to one) but they only had one card that pictured the casino. Then stopped at the Visitors Bureau. They had several to choose from so mailed it yesterday. It should be there by Friday, I hope.
