I was roading my 190 gasser and brushogg yesterday and going down some hills it seemed to be wound tight,I throttled back and I braked it to slow it down, will it over speed? Or will the governer stop this? Thanks

Governor only controls fueled engine speed not exterior forces pushing the engine to higher speeds.
You will need to make adjustments to account for steep grades with large loads behind. We had a kid back home scatter a IH Diesel as he was holding the clutch in to pick up speed then engaged the clutch causing the engine speed to sky rocket and scatter.

Lucky he didn't launch himself off the tractor and become the spatter in the scatter!

Acquired a 190 that had shattered the pd due to high rpm. Took a chunk out of the torque tube also
