| I went and looked at a WD today. My question is he had the loader (trip bucket, one way hyd.) running on the same hydraulic channel as the three point. When the loader raised so did the three point and vise versa. How hard is this to fix. Ive been around other old tractors where they just put a spool valve on the output of the pump, but the Wd having an internal rockshaft. How would i add a remote hydraulic channel and still have the rockshaft work |

The rear arms generally stay up anyway unless you have weights to pull them back down. We ran a chopper with a singe acting cylinder and left it as it was. It worked just fine. |

| had a massey 135 with a trip loader. it had a diverter valve plumbed in the line. push knob in and loader works pull knob out for 3 point. couldnt operate both at the same time. it was simple and worked well. you could add a valve like that pretty easily. |

I have a spool on mine. Here is how it's set up... Pump output to spool common input. Handle forward output a T for loader cylinders. Handle back output to a T below WD for ram cylinders. Common spool output ( return for tractor ) to a tank input mounted on side. Tank output to tractor (return). Tank is needed in case you extend all rams. Mount the tank so the fill level is near the level of the fluid dipstick. The tank will also need a little "holding room". I had to adjust mine a couple of times to get it right... otherwise my tank or dipstick would overflow depending where the pumped and settling fluids were at. Seems to work fine. Hope my description makes sense. I am a tinkerer, but fairly mechanical. Some of the more experienced guys can probably shoot holes in my setup.. but it seems to work well and I can independently control the hydraulics. BTW - I still use the quadrant level for controlling pressure so when I take the pressure off the fluid just back washes through the valve spool and out the spool common out to the tank. |
