| Dad's 1953 curved stick had one. It looked exactly like our WD-45 decal minus the "45". |

| According to Fay/Kraushars book, the WD decal came into being in June of '51. No serial number break listed. |

I also have a '51 and my own research has concluded that......no one will know the difference

Looking at the picture of the Front Cover of an 'Original' Operating Instructions and Parts Illustrations for WD-45: I believe the picture is actually a late model WD, has a curved shifter but pin hitch drawbar.
No WD or WD-45 decal. Original Allis WD / WD-45 Parts Catalog - Decal Set contains both WD and WD-45 decals for Rad cover. Gary
