OK guys/gals I had a couple fingers on my feeder beater on the m2 come out of the guides and jam up inside the beater. After a couple hours of work I am down to one large bearing on the left side (standing in front of combine looking at it) and it's associated shaft and the shaft and inner bearing on the right side (adjustment plate (for finger setting) is already removed from the right side. I am at a loss for removing the beater from the machine now. What is my next step?

I figured I would need new fingers, finger holders (looks like the bushings are long gone), slip clutch parts and new adjustment plate on right side. Hopefully Agco has it all.
Thanks in advance for any information anyone has.
Adam

The first thing you do is remove all fingers.
Cut the bearing, remove bearing plate, remove six bolts holding shaft in and remove shaft. MACK

Cut the bearing? Torch it off I'm assuming? The big bearing on the left side?

If AGCO doesn't have the parts Oakley Combine in Oxford, NC probably does.  Not sure if AGCO still stocks parts for M2s or not but I have had no luck finding parts for my K at the AGCO dealer.

I think it can only come out one way, think the shaft is longer on one side than the other. I've never had to take one out before

Do as Mack says on what you call the left side. Cut (torch) that bearing, and then just unbolt the stub (drive) shaft. On what you call the right side,go through the inspection hole and remove the half inch bolt that holds that stub shaft into the rectangular block. Take out the three bolts that hold the bearing flanges to the end of the drum. I use a slide hammer to then pull that stub shaft with bearing out.
