I have an electrical glitch in the unloading system of my R-40.   6 out of 10 times the auger will not shut off via the switch and I end up having to pull the fuse to actually stop the auger.  I've replaced the switch in the console but no change in the problem.  When the switch will actually work seems to have no distinct pattern.  Sometimes it will work for several cycles and then not work again for several more cycles.  Rather frustrating to say the least and sure a pain when you are trying to top off a wagon load.  Anybody had a similar problem?   I'm looking for some trouble shooting advise and all suggestions are really appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

there is a module on the bottom of the console under the fuse box - square bout an 1" square best I can remember.  solid state latching relay.  Either a bad ground - or it has a issue and is going bad.   I replaced the momentary switch with an on off rocker, ran the hot wire as a trigger to a relay I installed and used the safety switch on the roll out as a ground.  Then of course ran the wire from the fuse to the relay and then to the magnet via oem harness.

My R50 did the same thing, like what tbran said, it's the relay module under the console that needs to be replaced.  The AGCO part number is: 71345084

I had the same problem with our R50 many years ago and that little box under the console was the problem,,,I think the welder caused the problem.
