My neighbor has a 1966 Gleaner E combine that he is looking at selling. It has always been stored inside until this year. Original drive tires have a few cracks but excellent treads. Has a cab, straw chopper, bin extension (factory AND homemade) and a 10' head with hydraulic reel lift. Not a dent or weld on this machine anywhere - excellent condition. The 226 engine fires right up and sounds as good as any of mine.
If you are interested, send me a message and I can put you in touch with the owner. It is located 1 hour east of Toronto, Ontario Canada. http://s526.photobucket.com/user/szalmyr/media/Dougs%20E/DSC04436_zpsitj3ks3e.jpg.html" rel="nofollow"> http://s526.photobucket.com/user/szalmyr/media/Dougs%20E/DSC04437_zpsmfao9atl.jpg.html" rel="nofollow"> http://s526.photobucket.com/user/szalmyr/media/Dougs%20E/DSC04438_zpsdhn4pp5o.jpg.html" rel="nofollow"> http://s526.photobucket.com/user/szalmyr/media/Dougs%20E/DSC04435_zpsekowdxmn.jpg.html" rel="nofollow">

I'd take it in a heartbeat if it were closer. Trucking and customs put it out of reach for me unfortunately.

But barns keep your machines nicer longer Grandpa used to tarp his 8N all the time, and one winter, he didn't use it, and in the spring the mice had built nests under the tarp and ate all the wires

Well think of them as a stop gap so you can buy the toys now... Once these old toys are gone they are gone....
