Well I made it back for the other tractor. A massey harris 333. It's a 1956 with all the features but power steering.

It's red.  It's ripe.  You're fine.

Thanks guys. Same guy that gave me the model c. Couldn't ask for a nicer and more caring guy. He was pretty upset about them pulling away for the final time but made sure he knew they were going to place where they had 120 acres to run free on and he can come visit them anytime. :) felt bad like I was taking one of his kids away but I think he knows they will be well cared for.

I think with a good pressure washing and a some paint it will be looking real good. The engine and battery box were painted bronze from the factory and the wheels and radiator screen were yellow. Thank that's how I want it to be when he does come and visit and play with them again. This think has gobs of torque for its size and he was pulling a 4 bottom plow without a problem at all with it and spread one last load of manure with it prior to me picking her up.

Nice. I'm gonna be looking for a massey harris sign to have above it in its parking spot. Building a new pole building to park this, the model c, and the Ford 881 in and would like to have a sign above each as well as a blown up picture of him on it above them. Don't mind if it's a reproduction sign. Also gotta find one for out Thomas skidsteer.

For the heck of it here is a pic of the Massey by the Ford in front of the cabin my father and I built. I just love these tractors and like showing them to everyone.

881 SOS!! That's on my "Gonna have one day" list! If you've got the updated transmission, it's not going to run over you.

Oh boy...don't let ol' Shameless see that Ford!! His blood pressure might skyrocket from all the "Excitement" he gets for them! LOL

CrestonM u wouldn't bet on that updated transmission.   Mine had all the correct factory stamps and I was told the same thing by two of the guys who know fords best in the area. One of them ended up buying it off me because it did try to run me over getting off the tractor. Always always open the throttle back up to full before getting off because when you put that thing in park just under half throttle it can wait about a full minute then decide it is really in Reverse and that it is now ready to back up. I know I was tossed into the wheel as I was getting off that was when I sold it.

Nice tractors and that cabin doesn't look too shabby either.

Thanks guys. We have never had an issue with it jumping out of park reallyour but having heard the stories try and shut it off before eating off. I do that with all the tractors as its just safer especially with 3 kids running around.

I get the idea of shutting it down before getting off but when you are hooking up attachments that isn't really pratical. Just be safe with that ford. I know some people really like them.

My father and I built that by hand. Peeled all the logs, notchedevo them, and carried them up scaffolding to nail them together with 12 inch spiral shank nails. Started it when I was about 13 and took up 5 years to get the last of the trim and flooring in.

Here is another shot of it during winter.

The way the Ford looked when we got it.
