Does anyone know what the differences are in the monoframe 2000s. Looking at one. It had longer beams (uprights) that the bottom bolts too, but four of the five have been changed to shorter ones. How hard would it be to find another short upright?

Not sure but shouldn't be too hard to find. They made one that was 28 in clearence and one that was 32 in. I just changed on from hyd reset to spring trip by killing one, it appears the hyd reset was 32 in and spring trip 28. Worked good but had to run the rear as deep as it would go to get depth in the back. Looked at my other ones and there was a difference in the geometry of the tail wheel so may have to switch that before next year.

maybe this matters and maybe not but the mono-frame is bigger as there were more bottoms on the unit. we have a 6 bottom base and a 4 bottom base is how I found this out. I think the AC mono frame plows are a little hard to find parts for.

They are good plows. I have an older 28" clearance 5-14 & a newer 32" clearance 6-18. The older has shear pins & the newer has spring resets. Hydraulic resets were optional. The rubber flex mounted coulter (cutters) was another option.
Sometime back on this site, a former AC employer shared how engineering used a particular welding method of the mono-beam frame-hitch segment. Initial common welding resulted in warpage? So a jig or method was used to keep proper alignment.
