Yesterday I had chain issues with the drive to the cleaning shoe. Got a new chain on and that's OK now. Harvested a few loads. But now the bearing popped out of its flange on the "cam". The part that turns rotation into a back and forth motion. I can't figure out what is going on. One side is fine its the "drivers side" that is causing trouble.
I'm hesitant to just put a new bearing flange on if there is some other issue? The bearing is fine. It seems there is some binding in the shoe itself causing stress on the drive.
Nothing in the manual on servicing the shoe. Should I grease the rubber bushings?

When did you CHANGE all of the rubber bushings? I have seen the shoe bind with worn bushings. Also check the eccentric drive shaft being twisted, also if I member, there are woodruff keys on the shaft and they might be worn or sheared off.

Figured it out the bearing failed with the chain. New bearing new chain and some grinding on the sprocket and its working for now
