I got a manual for my Oxnard scraper blade.  It indicates that a cross member should be added across the upper lift arms.  I've never seen this before.  Is this necessary?  Looks like a piece of angle stock connecting the lift arms.

If its what i think it is, its an anti-sway bar, to keep the blade from pulling left or right.  I'd just fab up 1 that looks close...Wink

On the Allis Snap Coupler Blade, the anti-sway is accomplished with 2 flat bars that are attached at the bottom of each lift, and are pinned at their other end to the centre of the flat cross bar between the Lift Arm Latches.
