Hello again - Tried mowing my pasture today but the WD is sputtering really bad. I was low on gas and at first thought I was empty so I added more gas. After that it started sputtering really bad. I was able to get most of it mowed but stopped after awhile afraid I was going to make it worse.

Any thoughts or direction on where to start trouble shooting would be much appreciated.

If you ran it down to the dregs probably clogged fuel flow.......

Foul some plugs? Better look at them. Plugs tell the story. Learn how to read them.(everybody should learn)//

One of the WD's, (Jack's) has been running bad and constant sputtering to the point it sounded like a (John Deere)! Adjusted the carb and reset the timing. A little better but still not good. Called NAPA and they said they had a set of 458 (hotter plugs)That made a bunch of difference! Almost sounds like a Allis again!
Regards,
 Chris
