I just bought an AC hay elevator!   I have not seen or heard of one before. Does anyone know anything about them?

Think they made 500, one on auction in Mn a month or so ago.

Mine AC elevator was built in the Gleaner plant in Independence Mo.

Hay conveyor or elevator? They made both but ive never seen a conveyor before other than in pictures, well not that I know of any how, they're usually rusty and all look the same.

We have a 80ft Ac bale conveyor but only have half in barn. I'll try to get pics of it
I'd like to find one on transports some day.
We also have a flight line also.

Congrats on the great find!

I have a few Flight Line elevators and a NOS section of a bale conveyor.

It is in fact a hay elevator. Mine is in 12' sections.   48' total. I only went to look at "some old hay elevator" that was just taken out of a barn. U can imagine how surprised I was to see the allis-chalmers script on there! ;). And yes I would be interested in a book.
