| I have a question regarding the proper belt installation on a 66 and 72 allcrop for the straw spreader. The one located up in the straw hood. I must have a dozen manuals of every type for these combines and this topic is not mentioned as they dont show this option. I was told by someone as one publication mentions the belt must be crossed to run it correctly. We tried crossing the belt and it was rubbing against itself in such a way that its life would be short at best!! I cant see the great engineers of these combines would have designed to be that way. Does anyone have knowledge of the correct setup?? Thanks in advance for any help, Ryan |

| I hauled a 72 home for the neighbor today and that belt was crossed and rubbed itself like you said. I'll try to get a pic and post it tomorrow. |

Hey Ryan, they took the belts off but I took a pic of his diagrams that the previous owner made. | It looks like the idler assembly has two pulleys on the spreader on your neighbors 72. Mine only has one. Could you possible post a picture or two of that idler? I hate to be bothering you!! Ryan |

| The wheat got harvested about two weeks ago Pat. 88.2 bpa which was pretty damn good!! Beans got no tilled in the same day. Those little things are mighty thirsty!!!! Less than 1/2" of rain all month. Last year we had over 11"of rain in June!!!! Ryan |

I got back over this morning and took a couple picks.
