I used to have a page bookmarked that had all the Gleaner models and specs through the years, bin capacity, square inches of shoe, motors available and so on. It is not available for some reason. Does anyone have a website I can go to? Looking to see what combines compare to the L3 in capacity.
Thanks
Leon B

A 1460 for IH is close but the grain bin is smaller on the 1460. 7720 is also close. Sorry, no web page.

I'm wanting to compare Gleaner to Gleaner. L3, R50, R52, R60, R62.
The site I used in the past won't come up.
Thanks
Leon B

I think I know what website you're talking about, but I don't remember the address either.

I think i know the site you are talking about too but cant remember ether. The R50 is the closest to an L3. What kind of info do you need? I've got a gleaner bank book that gives all the specs on L3 and I think I have all the spec stuff for the R50. According to what my father has said the R50 was equivalent to the L3 or that what the engineers told him since he bought one of the R50 prototypes.

R-50 replaced the L-3. Same grain tank size and a bit better in capacity, especially in corn and on side hills. If you go by cleaning shoe square inches, you'll never believe an R-50 could ever keep up to an L-3, but it surely will.

We ran a Stock R52 beside our L2 in green stem beans, and the L2 would out do it, just a little. The stock rotor didn't like green stem beans. But Tbran can take care of that. In corn, the rotor shines, a lot more capacity ! That was our side by side experience. 20 years ago. We bought an R 62 ALOT more combine.
