| Hey, I am very new to this forum, I joined because I quickly discovered a wealth of information on this website. I am 17 years old and live in Wisconsin. My friend and I just recently purchased 2 all crop combines and a WC. The all crop combines are a 60 and a 66. We originally purchased them to take 2 and make 1 working one, but after a little work we discovered that we might be able to get both of them going. The 66 has good canvas, but the 60's canvas is awful. So we are trying to create a new canvas for the 60, and are in need of some help. If anyone has ever replaced this either by making a new one, or buying one, we could use some advice. We pulled these two bad boys 70 or so miles home. I'll try to attach some pictures of our prizes! The canvases on the 60 and 66 are the same, some shops that make advertising tarps can make a canvas or if you go to http://www.allcropharvester.com" rel="nofollow - www.allcropharvester.com tom yaz will have anything you want(tom yaz also is on this site). I'm 17 and have 60s and 90s. How is the rust on the concave and bottom of the elevators? How is the rubber on the concave bars? Did you get the pickup for the 60? When you pulled it did you grease the wheel hubs good? ------------- If you want a man to be a successful farmer, give him a Allis Chalmers tractor. Yes, we stopped every so often to grease them up, never had a problem there. There is minimal to no rust on the bottom of the elevators. Not exactly sure what the rubber on the concave bars is, maybe you could explain this one for me? Unfortunately there is no pick up for the 60. |

If you have any Amish canvas makers near you they can make the canvases for you and put slats on or you can put your old slats from your old canvases on yourself. I have a pick up for a 60. ------------- 35 combines and 15 forage harvesters. mostly allis combines and equipment.WTB 2 row cornhead for a 90 |

| Great to see young fellas interested in these old combines, if at all possible go to the Orange Spectacular in Hutchinson they put on a great seminar/walkthrough of the allcrops, then take many of them to the field and run lots of them. The walkthrough gives the history and improvements. Welcome to the forum Mark |

I'm Creston, like Shameless said. I'm 18. If you are combining things like wheat or Milo, the rubber on the cylinder bars doesn't need to be good. They are shot on mine, but they still do an excellent job of thrashing/separating. I have 2 1950 60As. Properly set, they make the cleanest sample you will ever find, with the least amount of loss. I'll be at Hutchinson running the SP-100 combine! See you there!

Go ahead! Only problem that'd just turn the dirt to mud! But they better not be iced down too much! Don't be throwing ice balls at me, ya hear?!?! Running that Massey 21A yesterday was WAY dustier than the SP-100. Can't figure that one out. I thought rear discharge machines were supposed to be cleaner than ones that dumeped everything right out beside you. Hmmm...

I live in Pepin WI, picked the combines up in fountain city WI, but the combines are now living in a shop at my friends farm in Kellogg MN. I really appreciate all the friendly help here, this is just awesome to me! I'm not sure on the year of our WC, we are just replacing the water pump though. It is a styled WC, so newer, that probably doesn't mean much. I have a question, was there supposed to be a wooden platform on the back of the WCs, there looks like there was a spot for a 1 1/2ft board platform? Maybe this was "farmer-factory" (a term that I have already learned) |

Seeing that Toyota pulling that All Crop reminded me when I was in my teens pulling stuff home with my Ford Ranger. The narrow vehicles worked good for that. I even had a Bronco II for a while but the short wheel base didnt work to well for the job. See you in Hutch as well! ------------- An open eye is much more observant than an open mouth |
