Have any of you tried the Sanden conversion kit on a 7000 series. I've got a 7010 that needs a new compressor. My mechanic recommended i get the Sanden conversion and I decided that I will change all the lines, dryer and expansion valve while i'm at it. Any info or tips would be great. Thanks

I just took the compressor off my '81 Caddy. hooked right up (same compressor). price has gone way down on them, since there are a lot of newer style compressors out there now. and if you change hoses, A&I have the best prices on them. plus you won't hafta change any mounting hardware!

on our 7040 and 7060 we used a Denso that fits in the old A6 brackets. AGCO dealer got it from hy-capacity. heres a link to what we got. http://www.hy-capacity.com/index.php?page=Search&partid=3484

I put the Sanden on my 8050 a couple of years ago. The kit looked like the one posted here. Works fine, cold air!

I did the sanden deal with hoses, condenser evap, txv, and dryer converted to 134a. 5 years zero problems. AP Air. Others may be OK but that is about as good as it gets.

Thanks for the info guys! I wen't with the AP air kit and new hoses it all looks to be of high quality. Now if this ding dong can figure out how everything goes together and flush the system so the mechanic can just charge it, it'll be nice making hay this yearWink
