My Grammer is really nice in my 7050. Spensive though. Been on since about 2012 and no problems so far. Get the swivel, it's worth the extra money.

Bought a aftermarket suspension for my 7060 and it's the smoothest riding air ride seat I've ever been in. I think it was $600 at the time. They still sold just the suspension on eBay a while back because dad bought the same one to go in his 6420 Deere, which had to have had the worst air ride seat ever built. You were coming down as it was coming up. They are the same as a km 1003 from tractorseats.com

my dealer, wells imp, was in touch with K&M and they still sell the suspenion in the mid $600's.   Is there a plate that bolt to the floor first or how does it all work?   i have the deluxe seat and just had it all recovered.    i drove truck for years and am more interested in the for/aft then the swivel.   i have the swivel now and don't use it!
i'm in the middle of planting, so i have a little time to get this all figured out before it's time to plant cover crops.

Mine has a wedge built that bolts to the bottom half of the incline that gives the air seat a flat base. If I get a chance I will take some pictures of it. The rails on mine are on top of the suspension between it and the seat.

My 7060 has an air ride seat in it. The previous owner installed it, and I believe he said it was out of a CASE IH Magnum. It's a very nice looking installation, and I love it. Darrel

the more i learn; the more i believe, the plate that make the floor level is the most important piece.

Tom, when I got the two Grammer seats for two of our 7000 series, they were ordered for a 7000 series, and came with the lower bracket with them. The one that bolts to the sloped floor of the cab. That was about two years ago, and I think they were a little over a thousand each. Spendy, but we'll worth the money I think.

the money concerned me at first BUT; my bracket is junk, so i've got to spend cash anyway.   just wanna understand how it all works.   I'd sure hate to find out that i coulda built the plate and got a used truck seat that woulda worked fine.   the fore/aft feature is something i want badly.   25yrs of trucking has told me that feature is very important!

Tom, a buddy had a 7040 that he made his own bracket and just used a truck seat.

I highly suggest a mid or low back, dont get a high back, cant see in back of you! lol

Unfortunately the truck seat ran pretty high, not a very compact suspension.

thanks everyone for replies.   It will help sorting thru all my options.   i total understand the low back seat and i had figured it would have to be a low rider type seat.    i do have an option of exchanging seats and brackets with my loader tractor.

Sorry my phone camera has dirt behind the lense so it doesn't take real good pictures anymore. I kind of forgot what that bracket looked like I guess. it doesn't set on the slope near as much as I thought. Just a few inches. If you need any measurements to make your own let me know. I made a compartment door behind and put my fire extinguisher on it too.

I have sold a few suspensions and brackets from K&M. Have had really good luck with them.

Did any of them go into 6000. I'm woundering if I'd loose any room in front or side of seat

my K&M customer service rep wasn't much help.    his answer was i don't know and i'd have to look around and see what i've got.   one of the poorest customer service reps that i've been associated with.
