B-C-CA carbs will interchange whether Zenith or Marvell-Schebler brand. Leon

They were not! As stated above they are interchangeable.

Dick,
I take it they were different from factory, but would all work despite the tractor model?
Thanks.
Steve

The B/C Zenith carbs were in the same family, but when it came to the CA, they had a different carb on them because of the higher rpm range they worked in. They will all interchange, but the CA carb on a B or C might be a tick on the fat side for the fuel ratio because of the different jetting...

Assuming all models have been upgraded. If you have a low compression 3 1/4" piston engine the carburetor from a CA might not start well with the larger venturi.

I got a 49 b to restore and the carb was bad. It did't have a venture.Got one off a C A and bolt holes was wider about one fourth inch .Filed it out to fit .Cranks real good but wants to surg when not pulling a load.

Thanks everyone.  Do you know the maker of the carb for the CA?  Still a Zenith?

Not sure with the zenith, but the Marvel Schebler is TSX154 for b/c/ca. Tractors came with both Zenith and M-S depending on what the factory had on hand at the time.
