If someone needs a testimonial on this - Shameless might chime in and say how good it works .

Coke

Not going to sell any machinery but another post puller from the BAR end of ranching (busted a**^ ranch).

A hefty tree fork about 3 feet long with a slot chainsawed in the single end to locate a chain and the fork ends trimmed to a blunt  flat  point.

Stand with the fork end down against the post at about 45 degrees, with a chain from the base of the post over the single end of the fork and on to your 4wd and pull.

Doesn't always work first time but with some adjustments for conditions does work.  And you don't have to double shuffle machinery.

Known here as "The Tooth Puller"

Galen tried several designs for tree puller - has a couple other designs but didn't do as good a job .

Buddy of mine got one of Galen's in a partnership deal with me last fall, but the ground froze up right about the time we got it, so we haven't tried it out yet. Darrel

i'm still using mine I got from Galen, mines a 3-pt model, as I don't have a skid loader. I hook it to the 7010. I normally pull 5-6 inch on down size trees, I did pull one 9 inch dead cedar with it, it worked fine. so far I've pulled about 1500 trees with mine, and it doesn't even look used! I keep the slider greased well. there has been a lot of people in my area look at mine and like how heavy it's built, I gave them all Galens phone number! I should start a dealership for them down here! all I see around here are those hyd "v" shaped pullers that mount on skid steers, and see a lot of them on auctions all bent to chit! i'll be going out with mine again this spring to pull more! you can also stack/pile the pulled trees with it, I've got piles all over on the pulled trees I've done so far! had one dude stop on the road and watch while I was carrying a 30 ft tall tree to the pile one day! Darrell...you'll like yours too when you use it!

He is looking for dealers for the units - has a dealer here in MN and has a special system on discount for him -
Also has his product liability insurance and has couple units now at A machinery dealer in area but wants to expand
Good time right now as slow time as snow plow mfg was slow - right now shop is down to building inventory and sales are slow .
