My distributor has too much slop in the shaft so I need to do something. I looked up the part number in the IT manual and started looking online. All the websites I've found say that that distributor goes up to 1965, mine is a 1967, question is which distributor was used on the 67 year? I would just look at the one on the tractor but someone has a couple coats of paint over the tag on it. Also can I just replace the bushings in the distributor?

Steve of B&B rebuilds them. I would give him a call. Replacing the bushings won't help if the shaft is also worn.
