Yes, they were made by a company called Stolper Industries. I don't think it can be considered a factory cab since it was not made by AC. 200 Cabs were made in LaPorte by AC.

However, if it was raining or worse, cold snow blowing, they'd be very welcomed... I remember loving the heat blowing back on me from the engine in a heat houser though :)

I have a Full Vision cab from a 190. It has the folding doors on both sides instead of the swing out door. All glass there. 1 or 2 may be cracked. Has blower fan. I was going to install an under dash air, but bought a 200 with cab. $100 I'll try to get a photo. I also have one for a D19.

According to Norm Swinford's book, "Allis-Chalmers Farm Equipment 1914-1985," AC started working with Stolper Industries, Menomonee Falls, WI back in 1965. Stolper designed the split-door cab shown above. First tractor with Factory-installed air-conditioning was a One-Ninety serial # 10962, in May 1965.
Interesting note about the split-door cab photos above. If you view the close-up of the split-door, you'll notice how the rear angle of the door matches earlier One-Ninety series I's sloped rear fenders. I think the tractor in the photo is a series III? It's newer Stolper cab's split-door angle remained the same as earlier versions. However, Stolper (or AC?) added a metal extension that matched up to the Series III's newer flat-top 2 light fender. This newer Stolper Cab has the double headlights per side, accompanied by upper brows. The older Stolper cabs had just 1 headlight per side bolted to front of cab without any upper brows.

Although it was made by Stolper and not manufactured by AC, I would still consider it a "factory" cab as they arrived from West Allis, Wisconsin, from the factory, with the cab already installed. I don't believe they were installed by the dealer at all. At least I don't remember any done that way. Just my two cents...

I looked at a new 190xt in 1971, the split door cab really wasn't much worse than any other factory cabs of that time, I thought it was nice cause was going to be our first cab tractor. Had a heater in it too.

I got a picture of the cab. It can be disassembled with a lot of work. I did it on the D19. I really don't want to do it again.
I would prefer pickup because it would be difficult for me to ship.

JoeTX, thanks for sharing a picture if your full vision cab. Just to verify, does it's doors fold inward as they slide forward?

My 190 has the Stopler Cab. Interesting the Clutch pedal has to be cut in half for the door to have enough clearance when opening in. I am looking for a window rubber striping kit for it.

We had a cab just like that on an early 190 diesel. Does it have the 2 small oval windows on the back? I would like to get one just for the memories but then I'd also need to get an early 190 to put it on which im hoping to do some day. They're actually pretty hard to find.

I see this thread is 4 years old. I have this same cab with the split doors mounted on my Farmall 706. Doors were trimmed at the bottom. But, wouldn't take much fix back original. If interested, PM me. I'd really like to find a cab for the Farmall. Thx, Ron

Deere did the same thing for the 4020 using Stolper cabs and later Hinson cabs and they're considered a factory cab. Crenlo was building the Sound-Gard cabs for Deere at one point.... though they were Deere designed vs the non-Deere designed Stolper or Hinson cabs.

I have one of the split door cabs I got from Andrew in Nebraska. It factory AC would go in the panel on the right side. If one was avaliable. I have no use for AC in the summer the Windows fold back and secure opened. I do remove the lower door in the summer just pull the one hinge pin out and hang the door in the tractor shed. It bolted on my tractor in a couple hours. Andrea sent all the filler panels with when I picked it up. It would fit in the bed of a full size pickup but I put it on a snowmobile trailer. Screw a couple blocks into the trailer deck and strapped it down real well. I also strapped around it to secure the doors and windows in the closed position. Drove 75 mph all the way home. Had one flat tire 10 miles from home after driving 1000 miles. Other than the lower door being a pain it's a good cab. A lot nicer than sitting out in a blizzard or rain storm. If your tractor dosent have the platform support brackets you must put them on before adding the cab or you will break the cross supports in the cab floor.

My 190 has that stopler on it,--half door leg grabbers,--real PITA but then I don't use the tractor so it don't bother me!
