I am still learning and going through my D17 Series 1 since a bought it a couple months ago. I was draining the tranny fluid to see how dirty it was and noticed what looks to be an adjusting bolt similar to the two adjustments for at the very back of the tractor for the brake shoes. I don't have any idea what this could be for. Pic below:

The tranny oil looks to be 80-90Weight... got 5.5 gallons out when there should be 7. Should I just add more 80-90 weight? This is my first tractor and never see or used Hy-Tran oil.

Thanks,

The screw holds the hydraulic cylinder pin in place.
I would use  821 or universal hyd. oil.   MACK
