He just confused the word YEAR with DECADE. More than I would pay for a project C.

Probably doesn't work!! Put it in neutral. I don't think I would trust that seat either...

I used to do a lot of shadetree mechanic work,,,and to help families that were bucks down and needed major repairs to their cars,,,,I would look around and could usually find a similar vehicle that had been parked and usually buy the whole thing for less money than say,,,buyin a transmission or an engine,,,,it always amazed how many of those vehicles that hadn't moved in years,,"Was running good when parked" ,,,,at that point,,I would turn on the charm and usually able get them to say WHY it was really parked,,,!! If I was lookin for an engine, and that vehicle had a bad engine,,I at least knew the rest of drive train was good for future possibilities,,,, so I smile when ever I hear " Was runnin good when parked"

I sure like the way the exhaust is covered. 25 years of rainwater will preserve that engine nicely.

Ok its a little rough. But did you see some of the stuff I have brought home? I thought I saw a rain cap on the exhaust? You don't need a great seat for them to run. :) Someone put a alternator on it in the last 20 years. Needs a battery. Must have had oil in the engine at one time, since there is a protective coating on the front half. Tires are round on the top. Just sayin! I really need to get a picture close up of that B near me that has set out for 30 years or more.
Should we start a thread of pictures of the machinery as its found, or a worst shape contest? Regards, Chris

Chris i think that d14 I found the other day would be a winner or atleast a runner up in the worse case category.
At least that b is in one piece.

Dan, Agree that the 14 would rank right up there. But I could find some better/worse ones too. Regards, Chris

I like the ones that say "ran good when parked" and it has trees growing around and through the draw bar, you'd need a chain saw to remove it. Bruce.

Hard to believe someone can honestly ask that kind of money for a unit in that shape. Much too much for what I see. Good Luck! Bill Long

Whenever I find an Allis for sale around here it generally looks about like that. The owner is usually pretty sure it's a "collectible" too and they price accordingly.
You guys that live in Allis rich areas don't know how lucky you are.
