Local Mahindra dealer had a 200 sitting on the lot when I drove by the other day. It was pouring rain and I had cattle trailer so I didn't stop. It looked good from the road. It has a factory cab, don't know much about a 200. I called about it and they want $6800 for it. Said it was one owner and pretty good shape, he promised it didn't jump any gears. Is that about right on price or a little high? Is the a/c on those worth fixing or a pain?

I think it's a fair price but some will say it's too high and some will say where is it at so I can buy go buy it. Bottom line is, is it worth it to you? A picture would help. Go drive it, see if the hour meter works and how many hours on it. Good luck.

See if the cable is there and alternator drive is there to make the tach run. As for the ac, well, ILGleaner would solve the problem by taking off the most beautiful cab AC ever made, and put on fenders. LOL that should get a rise out of him. LOL Also check the fuel gauge to see it works. Little thing cost a lot.

Seems like theres lots of 200 cab tractors that were built withuot AC in the cab. If it does have AC then I would fix it if possible. I'm sure some parts like the evaperator are not available anymore. I guess if you were going to use it for winter use only then it wouldn't matter. To me in hot weather a cab tractor without AC is useless. If the tractor is indeed in good shape and not trashed out like most are then I don't think the price is too far off. 200's aren't for everybody and can't take alot of abuse. Most owners either love them or hate them. I really like mine but it has a year-a-round cab with all the sound proofing I could cram in it. Go look at it and drive it and get S/N and post pictures if you can.

A buddy of mine just bought a decent 200, (no cab) for $ 3,200 on auction, so bid accordingly ---ac is expensive to fix!---I do know that!
A cab and good clean tractor, his asking price would not be too far off! thanks; ac fleet

I bought 1 July 5th 2014. It had some problems that I was assured it did not have. All the air conditioner parts are still available. PTO hyd parts are all aviable, hyd 2speed parts are all aviable. Transmission parts are still aviable. About the only thing I have not been able to find aftermarket is the darn shock that holds the door open. I like mine. With out weight on the front end they are pretty light trying to pull a big baler straight up hill. Great power and good fuel economy.
