For a friend, any thoughts as to what to look for, for being worn out?

seems a very telling thing about an older gleaners life is how many bearings are out when you go look at it.... if the guy didnt bother replacing bearings theres probably some more major internal things that are really whoopped.
the first E i bought had just about every bearing out. had to dump some serious money into it to get it to a healthy point again

Is this the non-running 1968 EIII that the guy in King George VA is asking $1200 for on Craigslist?
