Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon in Sturgeon Lake, MN with the "new" Model 35 one-row picker.  My friend Steve just purchased this from Jay in Cassville, WI and it worked just fine.  Just have to go really slow and give it time to clear itself out.

Steve used my Minnesota 130 barge box that I just put a new floor in.  The picker husked about 4 out of 5 ears so that isn't too bad for a 60 year old piece of machinery.  The husking rolls need new pegs (they are about all worn down).  Anyone know of a source for those or possibility of rebuilding the husking rolls?

I like the look of the picked row. It's nice to see a corn crop that is not absolutely weed free. There is good wildlife cover remaining.
