I just got a new to me 1942 Allis B and I drained the trany and rear end what should I put back in it.

The manual calls for 30 weight oil.  That's what I use. Congrats on the B.  Post some pics if you can.  We love to see pictures.

Years ago we changed to trans hyd oil in our"B" before that we had 20w or 30w with the hydraulic oil the transmission an a lot cooler when we were plowing with it.Paul

Does the trany and rear end both fill from the same place as I can only find one fill hole.

Yes, 1 fill hole and 3 drain plugs.
Use HYDRA-TRANS to refill.
You'll love your B. Great little tractor. LOL Bob
