When the engine is running at the proper high speed, what should the pto speed on a D17d be? I cant seem to get the reflective tape  on the crankshaft pulley to stick. A M&W dyno had a chart that would tell the correct pto speed.
Thanks Randy

So, if my math is correct, when my pto is running 650 rpms, the engine is running 1950?

540 RPM is at about 1650 engine speed. High idle would be 1950 to 2,000 RPM making the PTO speed in that 650 to 660 range.

Thanks, I had it on a dyno at the I&I show in Penfield a few years ago and they told me i was a little short on rpms. Will check it out tomorrow.
