First time poster, short time tractor owner.
My wife and I bought our first G for the farm and trying to get it field ready for the season.
We set the tire spacing for the fronts and rears at 60" tire center to tire center (for our bed width and basket weeder), had the carb rebuilt and the gas tank relined.
My mechanical background has mostly been throwing wrenches with cars (occasionally) so finding parts, information and specs. are a little troubling.
So, the first series of questions I have are:
Oil pressure gauge, where do I find one? (seems like putting the tractor to work, this might be useful)
Where is a good place to find wedge pins?
I have hydrolics, the front assembly was incomplete so we bought a manual front assembly, but I would like to hook up the rear--can I remove one of the plugs from the pump and hook up the other line? Do I need to prime it or the rams?
Thanks for any help you guys could offer...
oh yeah, Oil in the air cleaner? what's that for? It says for daily maintenance but I don't understand why?

Doc,s equipment in Lacon shoud have gauge and pins. If length is correct you can use the same hose that went to the front cylinder but rear furrowing bar on my G's have a differnt cykinder. The oil cleans the combustion air you need to keep it at thr correct leval. Dave

No need to bleed cylinders and the pump shouldn't have to be primed. The PTO needs to run to make the pump work. The wedge pins look to me like a drift used to separate Morse tapers in a drill press. Like this one.
