Has anyone ever put a new seal kit in a lift cylinder for the header on a M2 took it off and pulled the dust seal hoping for a retainer of some kind but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get it apart.

Take the fitting out of the cylinder end and there is a snap ring inside work it to the smaller spot on the piston and walla it comes apart!

We got one that needs to be rechromed -- It's got some nicks in it and started leaking again :(

I believe they are 3".  I actually have a spare that also leaks.  Must be a common problem
