Saw a pretty good selection of Orange and other stuff at the show Friday. Got a few pictures to post when I get my old puter fired up but Thanks to Joe Grunke and all the other guys that contributed to the show. I went back Saturday but didn't stay long as it was miserable Hot and Humid. Also a big thanks to decent people for reporting a fender bender in the parking area. I was shocked to hear someone calling my name on a PA system, only to meet with a Good Deputy of Barron County Wi so he could tell me my car had been backed into. Witnesses got the tag number as the guy drove off, evidently not even knowing he had hit my car, and reported it to the Deputy at the show. Hopefully I won't have to pay the deductible now that his insurance company has the estimate and details about the accident. | Charlie Too bad that bent fender had to happen. I know what you are saying about the heat but sat there was a nice breeze that came later on in the day. AC was very well represented and my thanks to all who made that happen. We met up with some friends from the cities (city slickers) who had never been to a tractor show and they were impressed with all the "farm stuff" The thing that impressed them the most was the case steam tractor running the saw mill and burning the waist slab wood to make the steam. It was neet to see their reaction to all this as they are college educated people but it was all new to them. |

I liked the crosscut saw set up for the slabwood at the sawmill. I think the most interesting gadget I saw was the sock knitting machine. Just an amazing contraption for something built in the 1880''s and it still worked like a charm.
