Camping at our annual tractor show (MMOGTA) with my D-15 and using it to haul a people mover. Noticed when I unloaded that my power steering hose has a slow leak. Manual calls for SAE 20 oil. I have Valvoline synthetic power steering fluid available to me at the show. Will this work, or should I go looking for SAE 20 oil?

should work just fine. might a bit pricey as its a synthetic. universal hyd fluid, non-detergent 20, hy-tran, atf, etc., all would work in your power steering.

I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.
