I ran across this 8030 the other day. It is a power shift, with bolt on duals showing 8000 hours, paint is weathered, fiberglass around grill is busted, needs a new seat and a cab kit, and of course the A/C doesn't work. Front tires are shot, rear tires and duals are old but have a decent amount of tread left,
Tractor has been sitting for a while but the owner claims it is mechanically sound. The owner told me to make him an offer. What do you guys think would be a reasonable price?

If you don't hear it run, or get to drive it, you have to assume nothing is good , it's a salvage tractor. 4000??? IG

I won't buy it without driving it. I haven't been to see it yet, the seller sent me the pics.

I would agree $4000 is the top end without hearing it run and drive. I have seen a few running and driving bring $5-6000

if it's such a sound tractor, why did they park it and steal parts off it?

I thought it looked pretty complete. What parts are missing other than the batteries and some of the front weights?
