PTO on my wd45 will not disengage.  Any suggestions on how to fix and what may cause this.

Is the set screw tight down at the end of the rod lever?

If it's not the set screw or external linkage then it's internal to the PTO drop box. You will need to drain the fluid and then unbolt the drive shaft then remove the bolts holding the drop box in place.

Yes it is tight to the shaft and not slipping.

Thanks.  I figured I would have to open it up but thought maybe there may be another way to a fix.
