Recently got a 7060 for mowing and I need to know where to check/add fluids for hydraulics and transmission. Thanks!

YOU HAVE A DIP STICK IN THE CAB AND ON THE LEFT SIDE IF THE DIFF. HSG THERE 2 SIGHT GLASSES THEY ARE IN THE BACK OF THE TRACTOR BY THE TIRE. THEY CAN BE REMOVED AND CLEANED. !!!!!!! JUST REMEMBER THEY ARE GLASS A 3/4 SOCKET WILL FIT TO REMOVE THEM

Dipstick in the cab is for the transmission. Sight glasses on the rear end are for the hydraulics.

correct me if I am wrong, but me thinks that on my black belly powershift 7060, there is a transmission oil dipstick that is under the cab, not in the cab, faceing the back end of the tractor, and then the two site glass bulbs for the hydraulic oil. Darrel

NOPE. Dipstick for transmission is always in the cab on 7000 series. 8000 series was moved out of the cab because the cab itself was moved forward a bit.

Thanks for the info guys! I do have a dipstick in the cab and two sight glasses. Where would the drain plug be for transmission/hydraulic fluids? Any recommendation on the fluid I should replace with. And before I try and clean my sight glasses can you purchase new ones in case I break one?

Three places to drain rearend-hydraulics. One on bottom of each planatary , and one in between. The trans, depends if a PS or PD. Either one, there is a cover under and to rear of trans with 6 bolts that needs removed and a screen to clean out. Have a pan at hand for there will be oil there. Most can be drained out of plug on side if a PS or steel line if a PD. MACK
