If your tractors were green, than in all those pics they would have their hoods up lol    nice pics.

Neat to see a modern farming operation still using tractors from the 1980's.

Funny I was thinking if they where green you couldn't afford to open the hood and buy the JD parts to fix them..... from what I can tell a new mower looks cheaper every time I fix my 930 moco.

You pay for the paint! Sadly, we've always gotten less machine for the money.

All things considered, I'd rather have these than new tractors. These are serviceable, will last longer, and they're Allis!

Wow those are great pictures.  I really like the pictures of the newer 7000 and 8000 series units.  I have been a fan since the 70's when I tried to talk my dad into one with a cab.  I now have 3 with A/C and cringe at the thought of going back to the dust and noise.

Next question I guess would be does it handle it good? Reason I ask my inlaws have a 20ft great plains they were pulling with a 4840 and they said it didn't pull it right. I would think 180 horse would be plenty on a 20 ft drill but they ended up buying a 8420 Deere so they could pull it good.
