Looks like the neighbor is going to let me use his combine to do my little 3/4 acre of cereal rye. I've never run an AllCrop...this one is pto drive, so that should eliminate half the problems. Any tips on adjustments and problem areas to watch out for? If I use my D17 diesel, do I run it wide open?

Eldon,  Be sure to stay at 540 RPMs.  That is critical for the proper operation of the combine.  Also, the sifters on the right side facing forward they said the top should be open 3/4 and the bottom 1/4. We reversed that since it moved the straw and other items off faster.  Check the grain return over the threshing cyl.  There is a door that slides out at the bottom.  Sometimes grain plugs up here and will cause shelling.  Check the appropriate threshing cyl speed.
Other than that have fun.  You will have fun.
Good Luck!
