Drove a little south yesterday and picked up a 59L for the AC C.  Complete with belts.  The C with it had the engine seized for 8 years, so the owner and I agreed that I could field strip it and leave the carcass for the scrapper.  My wife and I worked for 4 hours and pulled just about everything off.  Some really good parts.  Plow came along with the deal too.  The rear tires were pretty good and the fronts fair.  All still held air.  Good price too.

Looks like you didn't leave much left over for the scrappers

Nice find.  The metal looks real straight.

Glad you could make deal on parts too. But unless you just cannot store the carcass out side at your place, you should have taken it all home. If it was me there will be several little thing  I would need that I didn't remove before and now wish I had.

OH OH! It looks like the Hub has caught the same disease I have had for quite some time. If it's Orange and Rusty and cheap it somehow finds its way home with him.
If I read it right Mrs Hubnut could be a facilitator perpetuating the disease. I hate to mention how many times I had my wife help to haul home more cheap AC rust.
I wish I lived closer to Florida so Mr & Mrs Hubnut could dig thru my piles of AC parts now and then.

Kenny,
Thanks for the post.  Your are absolutely correct!  Mrs.  Hubnut is a facilitator!  We love the Orange!  Good disease to have!  Hope things are going well.
Steve
